Meet Sean Smith, Founder

Sean Smith is an East Tennessee native and a graduate of Maryville High School. He founded Andrew Holdings Group to give local families and small businesses one trusted, hometown team for payroll, bookkeeping, insurance and notary services.

Sean brings nine years of experience in client service, administration and back-office operations. He got his start as a commissions processor in Pensacola, Florida, where a director mentored him in accounting. He went on to serve as the main point of contact for more than 3,000 employees at a staffing and HR firm, answering payroll questions and handling onboarding paperwork, and later trained real estate agents on the CRM systems that kept their business running.

Before founding Andrew Holdings Group, Sean spent two years as a licensed customer care representative at an insurance agency in Alcoa, helping clients understand their coverage, make policy changes and get answers fast. Today he also serves as Chief Financial Officer of Angel Hair Studio, a growing Knoxville salon, where he runs the bookkeeping, payroll and back-office operations.

Sean is a licensed insurance agent and a commissioned Tennessee notary public. His approach is simple: do the work for his clients, answer the phone, and treat every business like his own.
